The instructions are quite poor with very small diagrams. We followed the instructions and sadly when it came down to it the blinds turning mechanism wouldn’t work and when we tried to turn it the whole blind kept falling down. Sadly we cannot return the item as it has been cut to its desired size. What a waste of money

The blinds we received look nothing like the advertised picture. Merely a green/purple smudge like colour – so disappointing. Would have returned but they were cut and fitted before I had chance to look. The mechanism is also very clunky. Would definitely not recommend. Waste of money!

The blind is good quality with a metal turning rod to adjust blind height which is much better for use in a childs bedroom. The colours aren’t as vibrant as on the advertised picture.

Initially we bought one where the mechanism that turned the blind didn’t actually turn round, but we swapped it and it was fine. First few times of rolling it up and down was a bit tricky, but I would say, stick with it as you get used to it and it loosens up a bit I think.
Looks so lovely when it’s up. My daughter loves it!

The blind itself is great and works well as a blackout blind. The mechanism that turns the blind, operated by a handle that turns, didn’t work. Rather than trying to exchange, as the store isn’t close, we bought a different mechanism with a pull chain for the end from Amazon to replace the one that wouldn’t work. It solved the problem and works well!

The blind matches her pastel rainbow room perfectly and is great at keeping the summer light out!

Cut the blind according to the instructions where it said to reduce the blind width by 37mm less than the width of the window opening. Not enough. It needed and extra 5 mm. The metal tube onto which the blind is glued is so thin that it collapses when you try to saw it. I used an old piece of broom handle inserted into it to stop it collapsing when sawing it.
Overall – not the standard of quality I expect from Dunelm.
